We talked about Hoover's response and began talking about Roosevelt's response to the Great Depression. We reviewed the government's role in the economy and answered the question: "To what extent should the government be involved in the economy?"

The test grades have been posted on SIS for our Unit 1B test. Please check your grade. There will be a retake available on moodle very soon if you would like to retake the test. Today in class 2nd & 3rd hours will be in the library researching Unit 1C modern economy topics. 1st, 5th, & 6th hours will be completing two activities on the Progressive Era: Political Machines - answer 14 questions and Progressive Reforms (trusts) - answer 4 questions Due at the end of the hour!!! We will be picking topics for our Unit 1C video project!! No homework Papers submitted online will be graded this weekend and all Unit 1C packets are due today!
